KRUNGSRI AUTO, announced NEAs grew 27% to 130 billion baht, which was mainly attributable to its innovative services and diverse sales promotion campaigns, which coincided with key festivals. The company is confident it will continue to grow strongly in all market segments and is committed to upgrading its services and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Pairote Cheunkrut, Managing Director, Ayudhya Capital Auto Lease plc., or KRUNGSRI AUTO, announced KRUNGSRI Auto’s Q1/2011 performance, stating the company had total NEAs of 130 billion baht, 27% up from 102 billion baht in the first quarter of 2010, with 26 billion baht in new loans, up 64% from the same period of last year.
“The positive performance was mainly attributable to our unique strategy that has been implemented to stimulate the market with unrivaled campaigns that have met customer demands and been supported by our effective marketing communication activations. This year, KRUNGSRI AUTO is also focused on undertaking a customer appreciation program via service upgrades. Our operation is strengthened by modern IT solutions, which shorten operating procedures and enhance efficiency. Consequently, customer satisfaction increased sharply and the company’s customer base grew significantly in Bangkok and upcountry. According to our latest customer satisfaction survey, 89% of customers are satisfied with KRUNGSRI AUTO services at the very to the best levels,” said Pairote.
“Our key marketing strategy includes innovative products and services and seasonal marketing. In Q1, auto loans grew substantially thanks to marketing activations during major festivals at the beginning of 2011 including Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day. KRUNGSRI AUTO launched the KRUNGSRI New Car campaign that offered a great incentive — Buy a New Car during Chinese New Year and Start Monthly Installment Payments After the Songkran Holidays, to customers who requested new loans for a new car purchase during the Chinese New Year month. Moreover, KRUNGSRI AUTO kicked off the KRUNGSRI Car for Cash campaign that showed love for car owners during the month of love. Customers who applied for KRUNGSRI Car for Cash were eligible to win a golden 1 baht heart shaped pendant. This campaign received good customer feedback and stimulated auto loans.”
Moreover, Q1 loans also came from the Motor Show in March in which KRUNGSRI AUTO officially opened its own booth to provide products and services on a consumer benefit-oriented basis. At the event, we served as the financial consultant for customers who wanted to buy cars. Our booth was manned by our highly respected employees who have been well educated under the Responsible Lending concept. They are more than just sales people, as they are able to provide information and useful advice to potential customers. Digital media, such as the iPad touch screen computer were deployed together with a payment calculation program that was designed to help customers define their proper credit limit. With the online presentation of information and documents for loan requests, customers can enjoy faster and more convenient loan procedures and receive loan approval within 30 minutes.
“As the comprehensive auto loan leader and market shaper, KRUNGSRI AUTO sees ongoing and significant growth in the auto loan segment. Interest rates rose 0.25% due to the increase in the policy interest rate, but this has not had a negative impact on current customers, nor has it created a high interest burden for new customers. Our prudent advice, such as the proper installation payment amounts is very helpful to our customers. Currently, rising oil prices have driven customers to choose eco cars or small cars for their fuel economy. Our 2011 performance is anticipated to be in accordance with our plan and hit our targets. NEAs are projected to increase 20% by the end of 2011,” concluded Pairote.
