The Thai Exchange introducing its Investor Stadium under the theme “Open Your Senses and become an Investment Champion” will offer consultancy services on all existing investment products, from securities to mutual funds, derivatives, and gold futures. The Exchange will join hands with 39 leading securities and fund management companies to promote investment among new and professional investors and organize 11 special investment seminars during the Money Expo 2011, scheduled for May 12-15, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Challenger Hall 2, Impact - Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok.
“The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has continued to participate in all Money Expo events, nationwide. In the upcoming event, the SET will use 1,000 sq m to set up a special zone called the “Investor Stadium” to provide all types of information on the capital market, including all products and services. These offerings will allow investors to update themselves and hone their investment techniques which are essential for their becoming champions in financial and investment management, regardless of whether they are long-time or beginner investors.” SET President Charamporn Jotikasthira said.
“The Investor Stadium will be divided into 4 zones to allow participants to receive data and service that best meet their demands. There will be the Zone—the Pro, for information on all products traded on the SET, including securities and derivatives, investment tips and information on new products, such as all 16 new single stock futures, and details on the extended trading hours for gold futures and silver futures. The second section is the Zone—Wealth Service, for advice on all types of investment, from securities to mutual funds and derivatives, with 23 brokerages and 16 fund management firms on hand to offer their knowhow. The third area is the Zone—Seminar Stadium, showcasing 11 interesting seminars from leading analysts throughout the four-day period. Lastly, the Zone—Academy for Beginners has been specially created to attract new investors, allowing them access to information before making their investment decisions while learning how to manage their portfolios using TSI financial tools. In this zone, participants can try their investment skills through the Click2Win project, and join the ‘Financial Freedom’ program to liberate them of any financial obligation. All these activities will help both existing and beginner investors move towards becoming real investment champions,” said Charamporn.

Welcome to exhibition booths presented by all companies in the SET group, to receive information and advice on new investment products and services, e.g., silver futures and 16 new single stock futures. Everyone will be urged to invest more with the “5-star stock menu”. Those who visit this zone will also receive the “Derivative Guide”, “Stock Best Pick”, and “It’s All Mutual Funds in the Portfolio” to help design their mutual fund investment portfolio. New participants in online investment through many channels, e.g., PCs, iPads or iPhones, will be encouraged to join the Click2Win 2011 online investment simulation contest and the launch of the revised www.settrade.com
2) Open Your Mouths @ Zone—Wealth Services
Welcome to booths organized by 23 securities companies and 16 asset management companies offering investment advice and opening new trading accounts during the event.
3) Open Your Ears @ Zone—Seminar Stadium
Welcome to 11 special in-depth seminars with investment gurus throughout the four-day event, three times a day: noon-1.30 p.m., 2:00 p.m.-3.30 p.m., and 4.00 p.m.-5.30.p.m.
4) Open Your Minds @ Zone — Academy for Beginners
TSI will provide information on financial management and investment, using such means as e-Learning lessons and year-round TSI-initiated training and seminars. Those buying investment-related books may receive a discount of up to 20% on books.
