TMB Bank Public Company Limited (TMB) is supporting its continuous asset quality improvement effort with the appointment of Mr. Jan Schuit as Chief Risk Officer succeeding Mr. Bart F.M. Hellemans, who has completed his term and will be taking up a new assignment at ING in Sydney. The effective date of Mr. Schuit’s appointment is 1 June 2011.
Mr. Boontuck Wungcharoen, CEO of TMB, said, “Bart has played a significant role in improving TMB asset quality and building the risk management culture for the Bank during the crucial time of TMB Transformation. “Bart is passing the torch to Jan who brings with him a wealth of experience in sales and risk management. Prior to joining TMB, he served as Head of Real Estate Credit Risk Management at ING Bank N.V., The Netherlands. With a combination of long experiences at the front line in retail sales as well as wholesale client relationship management and at the back office in risk management — both domestically and internationally — Jan will lead the effort in furthering the improvement of TMB asset quality and join the senior management team to grow the Bank’s business under “Make THE Difference” philosophy.”
