U.S. Ambassador to Thailand Kristie A. Kenney recently joined new Ford employees in Ford’s global Driving Skills for Life (DSFL) driver safety training program at its new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Rayong. Since the Thailand launch of DSFL in 2008, more than 3,700 licensed Thai drivers have participated in the program, which Ford provides free of charge. Ambassador Kenney was visiting the new $450 million state-of-the-art Ford plant — scheduled for completion in mid-2012 — to see progress on one of the largest U.S. investments in Thailand in recent years.
