Visa has presented awards for Delivering Payment System Electronification to leading banks in Thailand. The evening of appreciation was held at The Sukothai Bangkok Hotel to recognize Visa’s top banking partners for their outstanding contribution and excellence in the past year.
Joining Khun Somboon Krobteeranon (third from right), Visa Thailand Country Manager, at the event were 10 representatives from Thailand’s top financial institutions. These included representatives from Bangkok Bank PCL, CITIBANK, Bank of Ayudhya PCL and Kasikornbank PCL.
The event was held to express Visa’s appreciation for the cooperation and support from banking partners and to reinforce a commitment of delivering benefits of the payment system across the country and the region.
Visa has over the recent years reinforced its clear position as the industry leader in the application of new payment technologies in Thailand, as it has across the Asia Pacific region. Visa’s leadership andachievements in the Thailand market are due in no small measure to the strong contribution from its key partners.
