To commemorate IBM’s 100th year of incorporation, IBM Thailand has launched the IBM-Red Cross for Smarter Healthcare HIV/AIDS Prevention Project. The world's leading information technology company will share its resources, professionals and IBM Business Analytics software with the Thai Red Cross AIDS Research Centre to expedite the collection of the intelligent data required to design targeted HIV prevention campaigns that will have a real impact in local communities.
The special centenary project was officially announced at the alluring Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel recently as part of IBM’s Centennial Celebration of Service, which is designed to give employees, retirees, clients and business partners an opportunity to donate their time and expertise throughout the company’s centennial year, joining hands with the 300,000 IBMers around the world who are volunteering in more than 5,000 projects in 120 countries, meeting social challenges and serving millions in need.
