Over 400 Thai and international youth joined the Walkathon for Peace
The Anglo Singapore International School (Anglo) organized the Walkathon for Peace at the Benjasiri Park in support of the United Nations International Year of the Youth.
This youth-led initiative event was organized by the Year 4 students of Anglo.
Cutting the ribbon to officially begin the walkathon are (L to R): William Tan Wei Yuan, Deputy Chief of Mission, Singapore Embassy, Bangkok; Phra Chainarong Natthadhammo, Thailand’s National Debate Team Coach; Dr Marco Roncarati, Social Affairs Officer, UN ESCAP; and Julie Sutanto, School Director, Anglo Singapore International School.
