SMR Automotive System (Thailand) Ltd. — a leading provider of value added automotive products, services and innovative solutions from India — recently held a Bhumi Pujan Ceremony (a traditional Hindu ritual to start construction of new building) for its new plant in Hemaraj Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate. Expected to start a full operation by March 2012, the new facility will provide automotive-related services and solutions, and produce automotive parts for Electrical Distribution Systems (EDS), automotive rearview mirrors and Polymer Processing.
