The service area for TrueVisions' HD channels currently covers most of Greater Bangkok and nine provinces including Nakhon Ratchasima, Khon Kaen, Rayong, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Songkhla, Lampang, Nakhon Sawan and Ubon Ratchathani. TrueVisions' HD service is expected to be available in 19 provinces nationwide end of this year.
TrueVisions' HD service offers unique features including high clarity and sharp definition for a more realistic viewing experience; a 16:9 wide-screen format for viewing that is easy on the eyes; and support for LCD, LED and plasma televisions. TrueVisions' eight new HD channels are available starting from today. The 11 HD channels are currently limited to subscribers with fiber optic cable service, but will be available to satellite customers soon.
New subscribers for TrueVisions' Platinum and Gold packages delivered via the digital fiber optic cable network who choose the 11 TrueVisions HD channels will receive free installation and one month of free viewing of their selected Platinum or Gold package including the 11 HD channels. This exclusive offer is available from today until July 31.
Existing TrueVisions HD subscribers who are on the digital fiber optic cable network can enjoy the eight new HD channels at no extra charge from today until September 30 as part of the HD service fee of Baht 490.
