The campaign transforms Bangkok into a cinematic backdrop, featuring immersive activations and bold visuals inspired by the series' revenge-driven theme.
To mark the return of the Rainbow Taxi team in "Taxi Driver 3," Viu delivers a 360-degree marketing experience, including viral social campaigns, influencer collaborations, and QR-enabled taxi wraps for instant streaming access. One of the most talked-about ideas is the "Hardcore Taxi Driver Recruitment" viral campaign ignites online engagement, a clever execution inspired by urban insights, tied closely to the series concept, and designed to generate curiosity and buzz across the online community.
Before moving into the key phase of transforming Bangkok, Thailand - with large-scale OOH on Rama 4, 30 wrapped taxis citywide, and integrated Grab collaborations into a living backdrop inspired by the series, Viu launched a large-scale campaign titled "Announcement of Revenge." In this phase, Viu elevated the experience by Taxi Troop Activation: 30 taxis wrapped with series visuals and QR codes for instant viewing. Campaign began 24 November 2025 and runs through December 2025. Each was equipped with a QR code that passengers and pedestrians could scan to watch the series instantly, turning the show from a platform-only experience into something seamlessly accessible in people's everyday lives.
In addition, Viu expanded audience engagement through large-scale OOH Domination: Fiery full-frame visuals across Rama 4 for December, showcasing full-frame fiery visuals that captured the series' intensity, grabbing the attention of drivers and passersby and immersing them in the show's atmosphere without them even realizing it. Viu also strengthened its strategy through Grab Partnership, integrating the campaign into everyday urban mobility. This included a Home Feed Takeover, custom GrabCar icon, and premium ride discounts.
For "Taxi Driver 3", the story follows the return of the Rainbow Taxi team, a group of vigilante drivers who take justice into their own hands by exposing criminals hidden in the shadows of society. The team continues to stand up for victims who have been exploited, forming new alliances and taking on tougher cases than ever before. Leading the mission is "Kim Do-gi" (played by Lee Je-hoon), the beloved hero known to fans worldwide.
