Shell Malaysia recently held a conference ‘Future Energy, Smarter Mobility Asia Conference 2011, Peter Voser, Chief Executive Officer, Royal Dutch Shell and YB Dato’ Sri Peter Chin Fah Kui, Malaysia’s Minister of Energy, honorably joined the conference took place during Jul 9-11, 2011 at Sunway Resort Hotel and Spa, KL, Malaysia.
Dr Pimpida Chanyaraksakul, P.E., LEED AP, Department Head — Project Development, TEAM Consulting Engineering and Management Co., Ltd. deputed the conference as a panelist, among another three delegates of other Asian countries, in the session of Smart Cities — Designing Cities for Sustainability and Accessibility, about what urbanization is and how it has affected Asian cities through the case studies from developed countries. The discussion of this panel is to focus on integrating each design element such as transportation system, green building, outdoor landscape, etc as the big master plan city.
The leading Asian representatives invited to the conference were discussing about smart mobility, smart cities, the future of energy and era of volatile transitions, smart policies, and how to power up the future.
