CIMB Thai Bank PCL has announced appointment of Thaphop Kleesuwan as Executive Vice President in charge of Office of the President and Compliance Department, taking effect from now on.
Thaphop graduated with Bachelor’s Degree in Laws from Chulalongkorn University, Barrister-at-Law from Thai Bar Association, and Master’s Degree in Laws (Taxation) from De Paul University, U.S.A.
He amassed considerable professional experience with several law firms, i.e. as Lawyer of Pratan Duangrat Law Office and Coopers & Lybrand Co., Ltd., and as Associate Lawyer of Baker & Mc.Kenzie, Deacon Graham & James, and Senior lawyer of Siam Premier International Law Office.
Thaphop joined CIMB Thai, then BankThai Bank PCL, in 1999 as Vice President of Consulting Division, Legal Department, and was later entrusted as First Vice President of Asset Management Department. Before his appointment as Executive Vice President, Thaphop was Senior Vice President of Office of the President and Compliance Department, and also served as a director in Nava SC Securities Co., Ltd. and Sathorn Asset Management Co., Ltd.
