EXIM Thailand appointed Mrs. Kwanjai Tachasanskul First Vice President of Business Research Department and Mr. Jarupat Panitying First Vice President of Export Credit Insurance Department with effect from August 1, 2011.
Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand) appointed Mrs. Kwanjai Tachasanskul First Vice President of Business Research Department to provide operational oversight on the Bank’s analysis and research activities relating to economic, trade and investment issues, both domestic and international, in support of the Bank’s roles in international trade and investment promotion as well as economic development. Concurrently, Mr. Jarupat Panitying was appointed First Vice President of Export Credit Insurance Department overseeing export credit insurance underwriting and analysis of exporters, buyers, and buyers’ banks abroad to enhance export credit and investment insurance operations and related risk management activities. The appointments took effect from August 1, 2011 onward.
Mrs. Kwanjai graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Economics from Kasetsart University and Master Degree in Economics (English Program) from Thammasat University. She started her career with EXIM Thailand in 1999 and was appointed Assistant Vice President of Economic Information Department in 2003 and Vice President of Economic Information Department in 2007.
Mr. Jarupat graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Monetary/International Economics from the Faculty of Economics, Thammasat University and Master Degree in Monetary and Fiscal Economics from the School of Development Economics, National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA). He joined EXIM Thailand in 1994 and was appointed Assistant Vice President and Vice President of Export Credit Insurance Department in 2002 and 2008, respectively.
