The Home Builder Association is staging its “Home Builder 2011” to stimulate 2H11 market. The event, which will put highlight on 4G HOME concept, will offer a brand new computerized service, which could enable customers to search available land profile and housing model for home construction by themselves. In addition to the usual goodies, the Association has also partnered with the BMA to give away free housing models, and prepared a sumptuous list of promotional prizes including 2 Honda Brio, 4 Yamaha Fino, and 8 iPad 2 (16GB, 3G WIFI) to those buying on-site. It is expected that the event will generate 2.5 billion Baht sales on-site and help consumers take quick decisions prior to the 8%-15% residential price hike.
Mr.Vibul Chantradilokrat, President of the Home Builder Association , discloses today that the Association is staging its “8th Home Builder 2011” during this coming August 25-28, 2011 at the Plenary Hall, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC). The event, which will play host to over 40 leading home builders, will present new modern housing models along with many special promotions. In addition to home builders, list of prestigious exhibitors will also include manufacturers and distributors of home decorative items, leading financial institutions and real estate media.
In this 2011 edition, the Association has also added many new services and amenities for its visitors. In order to add in colors, the Association has implemented a unique centralized computerized system in-line with its “4G HOME” concept, including 1. Good Design, where the Association has gathered modern and popular housing models, fully equipped with complete designs and functions, that visitors could easily search and browse through; 2. Good Land Profile, where visitors, wishing to build a home, but do not have a land yet, could search available land profile in different and various locations; 3. Good Consult, where those having questions about homes, old and new, could consult with the Association’s experienced engineers and architects throughout the event; and 4. Good Content, where a seminar corner giving broad knowledge about homes in general, building materials, decorative items, home loans, or even the Chinese Feng Shui, will enlighten all visitors. In addition to all the goodies, the Association also partners with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) to give away over 30 free housing models to all visitors. Made available under “Build Your Home with Smiles” project, the free give-away housing models are complimentary by members of the Home Builder Association and selected building materials manufacturers.
Other on-site activities include HBA Ambassador 2011 Contest, a race in search of a witty beauty queen with well round knowledge in home building; Home Builder Research Center, a consumer research run by the Association’s Academic Department; and New Home Design Book Corner, the industry’s most recent and comprehensive housing catalogue sold at a special price of 199 Baht.
In order to make every visit and purchase more appealing than ever, the Association has prepared a sumptuous list of promotional prizes, where all those placing orders on-site will stand a chance to win a Honda Brio (2 prizes), or a Yamaha Fino (4 prizes), or an iPad 2 (8 prizes). Those pre-registering through www.hba-th.org will stand another chance to win an additional discount of 10,000 Baht, when placing an on-site order with any exhibitor, while all visitors will stand a chance to win a Blackberry smart phone (4 prizes a day x 4 days = 16 prizes).
In this 2011 edition, the Association has set a conservative on-site sales target of 2.5 billion Baht and is confident that this is achievable, as most consumers are well aware that residential prices are poised to increase in no time, after minimum wage and building material prices are set to rise. It is expected that most home builders will gradually revise their price list up by 8%-15% after the event. Hence, Home Builder 2011 is consumers’ golden opportunity to secure their homes at economical prices, while enjoying its many special promotions. It is further expected that the number of visitors will rise by 15%-20% Y-Y as consumers will rush to make their decisions prior to price hike. As usual, Home Builder 2011 will be co-locating with Home Buyer Expo, a leading consumer show for detached houses, townhouses and condominiums, NPA Grand Sale organized by Housing Finance Association, and Home Loan, a consumer finance show — all of which are expected to draw a good number of well-informed visitors to the venue.
