Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) opens doors to welcome the extension of BTS Sky Train Sukhumvit Line from On Nut to Bearing. Get off at Bang Na Station and connect to Sukhumvit Entrance, Free ride, start from 12 August, 2011 until 1 January, 2012. Also, BITEC launches strategic marketing activity for all year.
Ms. Panittha Buri, Director of Marketing and Sales, Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre said “BITEC is very pleased to welcome the extension of BTS Sky Train Sukhumvit Line from On Nut to Bearing on 12 August 2011. Visitors are able to get off at Bang Na Station and access to Sukhumvit Entrance. A shuttle service that transports passengers from the Sukhumvit Road Entrance to Exhibition Halls is also available for all events held at BITEC since this coming August and onward.
There will be easy access and guaranteeing more convenient and faster travel time than before, by the extension of BTS Sky Train Sukhumvit line from On Nut station to the Bearing station, free ride offered during 12 August 2011 - 1 January 2012.
She added “To enhance our visitor accessibility, whilst also meeting the demands for additional space; BITEC Sky Walk will provide access from Sukhumvit Road via an elevated walkway, complete with travelators which will deliver visitors to a new, air-conditioned.”
Welcome Hall which cover a space of over 1,700 square metres and also connect with the main building which is planned to complete in 2012. The space has designed to cater a variety of functions such as Press Conference, Product Launching, Exhibition Showcases and Reception Party. Also, this is part of BITEC’s policy of ongoing development for continuous growth, and is designed to maintain the Centre’s position as Thailand’s premier International Trade Event venue.
“As we aim to promote the convenience of taking BTS Sky Train to BITEC, we had launched a strategic marketing activities to gain more awareness among our target clients as well as general public. For those who join our campaign will get BITEC-BTS Smart Pass which was designed especially on this occasion and Food and Beverage vouchers of BITEC outlet from August until the end of this year.”
