Mazda Sales (Thailand) Co. Ltd. has achieved sales of more than 3,000 vehicles for the eighth consecutive month with July figures of 3,659 units, equivalent to a 21-percent growth compared the same period last year. Deliveries of the newly-launched All New Mazda3 2.0L have commenced and the all-new model drove the total Mazda3 sales to be sales of 668 units in July, surging by 87 percent compared to the same month last year. Meanwhile, the Mazda2 maintained strong sales of 2,195 units and is a highly-popular model for the new generation. Due to the growth in unit sales, Mazda has also expanded the Mazda Speedline, Call Center service in order to enhance the customer touch points. Mazda is also preparing to stage an economy run event for the Mazda2 in a historic 900-kilometer Bangkok-Phuket drive using only one tank, or just 43 liters, of fuel, in the near future.
Mr. Choichi Yuki, Managing Director of Mazda Sales (Thailand) Co. Ltd., said the skies are always clear after the storm, and Mazda is wasting no time in moving ahead along with its nationwide dealers in penetrating target customer groups. “Customers have accepted Mazda’s sporty design, performance and safety, along with confidence in our after sales service, and this has helped to drive up sales significantly during the last several months. July is usually a low season for auto sales due to the rainy season, but Mazda was able to achieve a 21-percent growth with total sales of 3,659 units, comprising of 2,195 units of the Mazda2, an increase of 5 percent compared to compared to the corresponding month in 2010, 668 units of the All New Mazda3 2.0L and 1.6L, an increase of 87 percent compared to the same month last year, and 794 units of the BT-50, an increase of 37 percent compared to July 2010. Meanwhile, sales of the MX-5 roadster and CX-9 luxury SUV were one unit apiece,” he said.
Mr. Yuki added that due to the swiftly increasing number of customers, Mazda has decided to enhance the quality level of the call center, the Mazda Speedline with higher standards and systems expansion, along with the larger team of professionally-trained staff. “This will increase the channels to communicate between the company and customers as well as strengthening our relationship. Mazda Speedline serves as an information center that also provides emergency service for customers. Our target is to create maximum customer satisfaction both in terms of SSI (sales) and CSI (after sales),” he said.

Powers customer sales satisfaction index survey in 2011,” Mr. Yuki added.

Ltd., said Mazda has been carrying out clear and continuous marketing drives throughout the year. “They include regular product developments, and creating product awareness through marketing in every channel including television, radio, printed media, internet including facebook and various digital social media, as well as by customers’ word of mouth, and this has helped drive up sales for every Mazda model,” she said.
Sureetip added that in the near future Mazda is preparing to promote the sporty character and excellent fuel economy of the Mazda2 with a historic event. “We will write a new chapter in Mazda’s history in Thailand with the staging of a ‘Sustainable Zoom-Zoom’ fuel economy challenge for the Mazda2 where it will be driven for 900 kilometers from Bangkok to Phuket by using only one tank of fuel, or just 43 liters,” she concluded.
