About the Artist
Nellyka — her nickname and birth name is Nelly, and her full name is Netchanok Treerayapiwat — has loved and played music since she was a child. She joined musical activities; for instance, school’s orchestra band, playing folk and classical guitar, and she used to be the Faculty’s keyboard player. At the end of 2010, Nelly pursued the musical profession as an independent artist, and began publicizing her works. In February 2011, Nelly released her first album, Nellyka Rock Rock. At that time, she sang and played rock-style guitar solo, and many of her songs were ranked in Top 20 songs of 20 radio stations. In July 2011, Nelly released a single in her second album, Nellyka Guitalele Pop Pop. At that time, she both sang and played guitalele solo. Nellyka is the one who makes the difference and creates the history of Thai music industry by being the first Thai guitalelist and female electric guitarist singing and playing guitar solo in all songs of her albums herself with her ambition of producing and distributing her musical works worldwide.
