Bangkok--19 Aug--FREELAND Foundation
Forest rangers are tasked with the most dangerous job in Asia: protecting critical ecosystems. FREELAND Foundation invites you to observe, photograph and film forest rangers from across Southeast and South Asia undergoing an intensive new training course in counter-poaching operations from August 22nd - Sept 4th, 2011, at Khao Yai National Park.
FREELAND will facilitate access to field training in navigation, patrolling, reconnaissance, raids, takedowns, arrest, search, crime scene processing, and other techniques used in effective forest protection. The second week will provide the best opportunities to film and photograph action.
