The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) announces that Sompol Kiatphaibool is re-elected as chairman of the exchange’s Board of Governors for a second term, with effect from August 17, 2011 to August 14, 2013.
The exchange also welcomes Subhak Siwaraksa as a new member of the board. He is appointed bythe Securities and Exchange Commission to replace Jaruporn Viyanant, whose term as governor hadended. Subhak’s appointment is for two years from August 15, 2011, SET President Charamporn Jotikasthira said.
In addition, the board has elected Pattera Dilokrungthirapop, one of board members, as vice chairman of the exchange.
