Procter & Gamble Trading (Thailand) Limited or P&G Thailand led by Khun Kannika Jarusuraisin, External Relations Manager was the representative to receive a commemorative pin as a partner company to support the activities of Thai Women’s Day 2011 with Khunying Natthika Wattanawekin Ungubolkul, the Chairwoman of The National Council of Women in Thailand Under the Royal Patronage of Her Majesty The Queen as the host. P&G recognizes the diversity between different groups of people and how the unity and inclusion of these peoples can create sustainability for an organization, especially women. P&G decided to start the “The P&G Women’s Power Group” in order to communicate the importance of women’s rights in a corporate environment. In addition, “The P&G Women’s Power Group” also contributes to unfortunate women in society as well as supports activities for International Women’s Day. P&G sponsored a booth at Thai Women’s Day 2011 event recently held at The Royal Jubilee Ballroom, Impact Arena Muang Thong Thani, which involved giving out souvenirs and free skin consultation from beauty experts, which was greatly received by the many of the participants.
