Dr. Nathasit Gerdsri, Asst. Prof. of Technology & Innovation Management and Program Chair of Management & Strategy at College of Management Mahidol University (CMMU), offered a series of 2-day training on Project Management as a part of the Job Competency Development Program for researchers, analysts, project/program managers, and R&D managers at National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA). The training sessions were organized at Thailand Science Park’s training facilities.
The workshop was customized to help the participants to become an effective project manager. The scope of the workshop includes understanding the effective use of projects in accomplishing limited duration tasks in today's environment; examining the project management activities, techniques and issues involved throughout the life cycle of a project; gaining practical experiences of planning, implementing and tracking a project with the hands-on activities during the workshop; identifying the key issues which can influence the progress and may result in project interruption or failure; and assessing the needs for co-operation among team members or different departments along with the development of leadership skills.
