- To introduce new standard color “Quartz Brown” for Lancer EX
Mitsubishi Motors announces new sales target for this year to 70,000 units after sales volume in 8 months surpassed 47,,000 units and also introduces new color “Quartz Brown” as the new standard color for Lancer EX 1.8 L.
Mr.Atsushi Seino, Vice President of Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Company Limited informs that MMTh decides to revise sales target to 70,000 units or increasing more than 70% when compared to 39,549 units of last year after the company’ sales result has been rising over 6,000 units for many months. Latest result in August, MMTh sold 6,580 units that exceeds six thousand units for 4 consecutive months and the accumulate sales volume in 8 months are at 47,061 units, increasing more than 104% compared to the same period of last year which is higher than the target. He adds that it is because of strong expansion in 1st half of this year , thank to well-expanded growth in agricultural sectors and a positive growth in automotive sector which hit almost 500,000 units in 7 months so the company also foresee that total sales volume of this year will be around 900,000 — 910,000 units.

In order to achieve sales target, the company will continue to emphasize on MMTh strong point including products and after sales operation together with arranging more marketing activities. In term of product, besides preparing to introduce Global Small which will be displayed as a world premier in this Motor Expo, the existing models will be developed in order to response customer need starts with Lancer EX which has total sales volume almost 6,000 units since its first launching. In this September, MMTh has introduced “Quartz Brown” as the new standard color for Lancer EX 1.8 L. aiming to be the alternative choice for customers who prefer the luxury and unique vehicle.
The new Lancer EX “Quartz Brown” will be available at Mitsubishi dealers nationwide and is going to be displayed at Mitsubishi Road show in department store as below schedule;.
