Krungsri Auto Expands New Channels to Reach Modern Trade and Consumers’ Lifestyle

Bangkok--12 Sep--Aziam Burson-Marsteller Krungsri Auto continue to lead the Thai auto financing market with the expansion of the new servicing channels that reach out to the modern trade shoppers and match with the consumer’s lifestyle. In the second half of 2011, it has invested over 20 million baht in the series of ten new branches. Aiming to provide an innovative experience and convenience for the customers, it plans to open three format categories of the new channels in modern trade stores, petrol service stations as well as the area of the Bank of Ayudhya branch sites. Krungsri Auto starts the launch of this ten new channels with the “Krungsri Auto Express”, opening on the 9/9 with special promotions, in the area of Big C Bangna. According to Pairote Cheunkrut, Managing Director, Ayudhya Capital Auto Lease plc., or Krungsri Auto, to cope with the ongoing expansion of the auto financing market during the second half of the year, Krungsri Auto is poised to expand its channels to reach more customers. With an investment over 20 million baht, the company will open 10 new branches in a range of branch formats, both in Bangkok and upcountry. The new branches, that will be opened during the remainder of 2011, are classified into three format categories. These are (1) Krungsri Auto Express, a new branch in modern trade outlets that will provide fast and convenient financial service everyday including weekends, with one-hour loan approval, based on the submission of complete documentation. Three new Krungsri Auto Express stores are planned to be opened this year with the first Krungsri Auto Express that will be opened on September 9, 2011 at Big C Bangna; (2) Krungsri Auto Mini Branch, a mini outlet that will be located inside a Bank of Ayudhya branch. This marks a joint initiative with Krungsri Group to expand the distribution channel to reach more consumers in the areas where no Krungsri Auto branches are available. This year, six Krungsri Auto Mini Branches will be opened on September 15, 2011 in Chachoengsao, Chanthaburi, Pakchong — Nakhon Ratchasima, Mukdahan, Nongkhai and Yasothon; and (3) Krungsri Auto Branch, a fully serviced branch model, will be opened in the PTT petrol service station, Ram-indra Road km11 on the 11th day of the 11th month, as petrol service stations are frequently visited by motorists. “The opening of these new types of branches marks a major change in Krungsri Auto’s branch concept that is converted from the traditional branch design to the new model that puts Krungsri Auto branches closer to consumers. Krungsri Auto is the first auto financing provider to offer service in modern trade facilities and a petrol service outlet to meet all consumer demands and lifestyles. This will provide more access to diverse customer groups and create an innovative customer experience and that also make their life simple to get auto financial services. Krungsri Auto Mini that is opened in Bank of Ayudhya branches will also allow us to reach dealers and customers in areas, especially upcountry, where no Krungsri Auto branches have been located yet,” added Pairote. “With inclusion of the ten new branches, our extensive network of branches will grow to 44 this year. Krungsri Cash to Car gives the maximum credit line of 90% and simple installment payments of 72 months without guarantors, additionally a Love Love cow-shaped mobile phone holder worth 199 baht will be given to customers who submit loan requests with complete documentation and 1-year Cash to Car Assistant Service valued at 1,500 baht upon document approval. All loan requests that receive approval within the first five days starting from 9 September will each be given 500 Big C gift vouchers.
