Welcomes two new industry-veterans as Partners and addspowerful new software tools to help customers save time and money
Grant Thornton Thailand has today announced the formation of their new Management ConsultingPractice and has brought in two senior industry figures to run the new entity. The Management
Consulting Practice will have a unique focus in the Thailand market place whilst maintaining a strong
synergy with existing Grant Thornton Practice areas.
Ian Pascoe, Managing Partner at Grant Thornton Thailand said “The new Management Consulting
Practice is a perfect complement to our other well-established Practices at Grant Thornton. It has a
powerful synergy with our Advisory Services, Business Risk Services and Executive Recruitment.
We provide a total suite of services, allowing us to provide almost any form of assistance to help
companies with their business needs in Thailand.”
Grant Thornton Management Consulting team has a very specific focus in the Thailand market.
Their mission is to help customers improve productivity, by focusing on key business processes and
improving them. To help achieve this, the new Practice is using a unique and powerful set of software
tools. These have been developed to improve the quality of the capture of information, allowing the
team to perform powerful and fast analysis of that, and present that solution in a practical way.
These tools have been developed and perfected in over 70 customer projects across a broad range ofindustries.
Grant Thornton has attracted two industry heavy-weights to lead the new Practice as Partners:
Andrew McBean is a veteran executive with over 26 years working experience. He has over 8 years
senior management experience in Thailand; as Managing Director of Microsoft Thailand, and latterly
Senior Vice President at Total Access Communication PLC. (dtac). Andrew specialises in Business
Process Re-engineering, management, sales optimisation and process improvement. His experience withdtac augments the significant experience that Grant Thornton has gained in the telecommunication
industry.

Andrew is joined by Tantra Tantraporn, also a veteran executive with over 36 years working experience.
Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Tantra held senior roles in multinational firms including: Associate
Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers, regional Senior Solution Architect at Hewlett Packard, Vice
President at Hutchison CAT and Asia Pacific Business Consulting Director for Oracle Systems.
Tantra is a subject matter expert in organization management, with an emphasis on process analysis andreengineering in power plant operations, engineering management, business requirement assessment,systems suitability and productivity improvement.
