The division of Mobility ( I MO RS IS MRTA) of Siemens Ltd. Thailand has been recognized by the Department of Labor Protection and Welfare of the Labor Ministry for outstanding safety performance and safe workplace management, and has been granted a bronze-level award for achieving one million man hours but less than 3 million man hours without any lost time accidents.
The Department of Labor Protection and Welfare of the Labor Ministry has launched “Zero Accident Campaign 2011” to encourage business operators to enhance occupational safety and health management systems for prevention and control of occupational accidents.
Khun Thanit Viboolwattana, Assistant Manager of Siemens I MO RS IS and Chairman of I MO RS IS Occupational Safety Committee, received the award on behalf of Siemens from Labor Ministry Permanent Secretary Somkiat Chayasriwong at the award presentation ceremony held recently at Amari Don Muang Bangkok Hotel.
