According to the Silver Futures' executed prices decrease by 10% from the latest settlement price, Thailand Futures Exchange (TFEX) decides to suspend trading of all Silver Futures series for a certain period, from 9:45 hours of September 26, 2011 onwards.
TFEX will recommence the trading of Silver Futures from 10:15 hours. The Pre-open session will start from 10:05 hours until 10:15 hours. (10 minutes before Silver Futures resumption).
In addition, the daily price limit of all Silver Futures series will be expanded to no more than +/- 20% of the latest settlement price.
The suspension was in accordance with derivatives regulations stated in Silver Futures’ contract specification.
