Suvitech, a Thai Software Services Company based in Bangkok, is pleased to announce that it has won multiple awards — including the GOLDEN TIGER AWARD, at the ASEAN SME TIGER AWARDS ceremony held on September 20th 2011, in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. These awardswere an integral part of the two-day South East Asian SME Forum, organised by leading French business information group - naseba. The awards are designed to recognise and reward the best performing SMEs in the region for their outstanding achievements in several categories.
Suvitech won the prestigiousGOLDEN TIGER AWARD, which is awardedto the company judged to excel in all categories.As the star performer of SMEs in ASEAN region for this year,Suvitech will be automatically be nominated for the upcoming Asia Pacific SME Tiger Awards.
In addition to the Golden Tiger Award, the other category awards won by Suvitech are:
MARKETING EXCELLENCE AWARDThis award honours the organisation that demonstrated the most successfulmarketing initiative results in 2010. Suvitech won GOLD in this category.
DYNAMIC GROWTH AWARDThis award honours the organisation that demonstrated the most improvedgrowth over a three-year period. Suvitech won SILVER in this category.
INNOVATION AWARDThis award honours the organisation which produced innovative productsor services that have broken conventional processes or gone beyond marginalimprovements in existing products and services.Suvitech won SILVER in this category.
During his acceptance speech for the GOLDEN TIGER AWARD, Mr. Ravi Bhatia, Chief Operating Officer of Suvitech Company Limited, said “We have input a lot of hard work into the company and are very pleased to have been recognized for the hard work by the TIGER AWARD panelists”. He also thanked naseba for organizing such an event and paid tribute to other finalists at the event saying that “most of the SMEs in ASEAN region are from developing economies and face a lot of challenges to gain access to finance, so all the SMEs who have made it to the finals of this event deserve to be applauded for their entrepreneurship”.

The South East Asian SME Forum and Tiger Awards were inaugurated by Hon Gwendolyn F Garcia — Governor of the Province of Cebu, Philippines and GuritnoKusumo — Ministry Secretary, The State Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, The Republic of Indonesia.The two-day initiative was endorsed by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry and organised by French business information group naseba.The forum had also featured regional experts discussing a variety of SME-related topics.
