The official launch of its new product line-up include the world’s fastest auto focus and the world’s first Translucent Mirror technology in Alpha, the world’s fastest release time lag of compact interchangeable lens camera in NEX, the world’s first interchangeable lens for a High Definition Handycam and featuring built-in projector, the world’s thinnest camera of Cyber-shot with full HD video and intelligent 3D Sweep Panorama, and S-Frame - the latest digital photo frames with Wifi connection and intelligent touchscreen. ‘See Saw Seen 4’ Photo Exhibition
Sony Thai joins hand with Ardel Gallery to held Photo Exhibition, namely See Saw Seen 4. This event is the initiative of Prof. Thavorn Koudomvit, and there will be 16 famous artists such as Nitikorn Kraivixien, Pishnu Suphanimit, Nopadon Chotasiri, Dow Wasiksiri and Kanok Suriyasat, to exhibit their masterpieces with a diversity of concepts and ideas. All of their masterpieces are taken from Sony Alpha and Sony NEX cameras. The exhibition will be held for 1 month from 15 November, 2011 onward at DOB Gallery, Hualumpong, and then it will move to show at Ardel Gallery, Khoa Yai.
Alpha Campus Photo Contest
The Alpha campus will allow university students who are interested and have passion for photography to join for the purpose of acknowledging and developing their shooting skills. Also, they will have a chance to compete in the photo contest and participate in the workshop with professional photographers as Khun Nikar Greeprom and Khun Manoo Manookulkit etc. The Alpha Campus Photo Contest will start from November 2011 until January 2012, and the winner announcement will be released during February 2012.
Digital Imaging Product Features
A variety of products launch in Digital imaging as follows:
- Sony Alpha comes in 2 series: Alpha SLT-A77 and Alpha SLT-A65 are DSLR cameras equipped with Translucent Mirror Technology and Quick Auto Focus (AVCHD Full HD1081) which enable them to combine speed and accuracy for the perfect shot. Moreover, Sony has also enhanced the cameras with Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor containing 24.3 effective megapixel resolutions, and newly developed BIONZ image processor to ensure every shot has ultra-low noise and excellent image fidelity. In addition, Alpha SLT A-77 comes together with the world’s fastest 12 fps continuous shooting and the world’s first 3-way tilt Xtra Fine LCD screen, which offers high resolution as 921k dots and TruBlack technology for superb detail and contrast.
- Sony NEX comes in 2 series: NEX-7 is All-In-One compact interchangeable lens camera with 24.3 effective megapixels Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor, and it is the world’s first compact camera that features an XGA OLED (2,359K dot) TruFinder? for precision framing and focusing. Secondly, NEX-5N is the Sony’s first NEX camera to feature an intuitive new Photo Creativity Touch interface and Tracking Focus via the 921k-pixels LCD touch panel and control dial. Furthermore, both cameras also have the world’s fastest interchangeable lens digital cameras with Release Time Lag approximately 0.02 seconds and quickly responsive Autofocus.
- Sony Handycam? NEX-VG20E is the world’s first consumer HD camcorder with E-mount system interchangeable lenses support for all the post-processing flexibility that’s familiar to DSLR users. The new Handycam? NEX-VG20E also features a resolution of 16.1 effective megapixels with Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor and new 3" Xtra Fine LCD touchscreen that can be rotated over a 270 degree range. Also, the new Handycam allows users to make their own creation of beautiful background defocus ('bokeh') effects to enhance more attractive and cinematic looks.
- Sony Handycam Video Cameras: There are 2 series including DCR-PJ5, built-in projector camcorder, and another DCR-SX21. These two camcorders feature 1/8” Advanced HAD CCD Image sensor which is supported by the Intelligent Auto features in 18 different landscape schemes. Also, these video recorders have impressive 57x optical zoom and 1,800x digital zoom qualifications.
- Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX55 is the world’s thinnest camera with Full HD AVCHD video. It also features a 16.2 megapixel Exmor R? CMOS sensor and amazing 3D Sweep Panorama technology. Enabling its incredible slimness, the TX55 comes together with 3.3” wide Xtra Fine OLED touchscreen with TruBlack technology.
- New S-Frame comes in 4 series: DPF-W700 (Wi-Fi) is 7-inch digital photo frame with Clear Photo WVGA LCD and capable touchscreen function. W700 also supports for WiFi connection. DPF-HD700, 7-inch digital photo frame, and DPF-HD 1000, 10.1-inch frame, are stylish acrylic displays which enable to deliver Full HD video playback. These two frames also feature mono speaker and remote control. Lastly, DPF-C700/BI (Swarovski Curved Design) is a fashion-centric digital photo frame with WVGA 7-inch. This special edition of DPF-C700/BI is made with SWAROVSKI?
