Bangkok Bank is encouraging children and the general public to save with a limited edition ‘Disney Live! Mickey’s Music Festival’ passbook. To obtain the special passbook, customers need to open a Sinmathaya Subthawee deposit account or for children aged up to 14 years, a Sinmathaya Subthawee - Bualuang Kids account. By adding monthly instalments for whatever amount you choose, you will receive a premium rate of interest, tax-free.
Bangkok Bank Director and Executive Vice President Dr. Thaweelap Rittapirom said the bank is providing a limited edition ‘Disney Live! Mickey’s Music Festival’ passbook, for Sinmathaya Subthawee deposit account or Sinmathaya Subthawee - Bualuang Kids account holders to encourage people and kids to save each month. The Sinmathaya Subthawee - Bualuang Kids account only requires an initial deposit of between Baht 500, the regular Sinmathaya Subthawee account requires an initial deposit of Baht 1,000. The maximum deposit amount is Baht 25,000. Account owners will enjoy a premium rate of interest, while interest will not be subject to withholding tax when you complete your selected deposit term.
The bank will arrange marketing activities to build awareness and encourage savings behaviour among people of all ages. To receive the special edition passbook, interested persons can open either account at any Bangkok Bank branch until November 30, 2011.
