Bangkok Bank President Chartsiri Sophonpanich led executives and staff from Bangkok Bank and its affiliates to Ayutthaya province which has been severely hit by floods. The group provided survival kits and cardboard toilets and drinking water as urgent relief measures for flood victims. The bank has also cooked 3,000 meals per day, delivering the meals on boats to people stranded in remote areas. The bank has opened a current account (101-3-43033-3) at its Head Office on Silom Road to receive donations to help flood victims. Customers and the general public can transfer funds to the account from Bangkok Bank’s branches in more than 1,000 locations and more than 7,000 ATMs nationwide without incurring an interregional transfer fee. Bangkok Bank’s affiliates joining the relief effort include Bangkok Insurance, Bangkok Life Assurance, BBL Asset Management, Bualuang Securities and Bumrungrad Hospital.
