Impact Exhibition Management is joining forces with the Thai Pet Product Industries Association, sponsored by the Perfect Companion Group, to host SmartHeart Presents: Pet Variety 2011 to present an entertaining show providing knowledge of pet keeping. The event is focussed on strengthening relationships between pets and their keepers while enabling the pet industry to step forward into the new era which offers a greater of variety of pet animals. It will also feature a wide range of quality products and services for pets.
Ms. Kunwadee Jintavorn, Executive Director of Impact Exhibition Management Co., Ltd, said that Impact Exhibition Management is one of Thailand’s leading exhibition organisers and has held international dog shows for over 10 years. Among them is the SmartHeart Presents: Thailand International Dog Show, which is held annually. Last year, the company also held the world class dog show called FCI Asian and the Pacific Section Dog Show 2010, which was highly successful, with over 2,500 dogs from across the world entered in the competition held over a 7,500 square metre area. This reflects the potential of the company in terms of the standards of the venue which is ideal for being the centre of pet shows in the Asia Pacific region and beyond.

This year, visitors will find a variety of animal species that will participate in the contest and show their fantastic talent. They will also enjoy specially priced products for many pets from over 100 exhibitors over an area of 5,000 square metres, with a wide range of quality products such as snack foods, clothing and services. The event will also feature various entertaining activities such as Extreme activities zone, Pet Oh la la! A pet talent contest, a merit making for scapegoat zone and super pet zone, which is considered the highlight of the event where rare and exotic pets and animals will be on display.
Mr.Nantapol Tantiwongampai, President of the Thai Pet Product Industries Association (TPIA), said the pet industry in Thailand continues to grow in spite of political instability, financial crises and natural disasters. “The industry itself was only slightly affected. Nowadays, pet animals play important roles as family members. Therefore they are treated better because the owners take better care of them. In the past we saw some pet owners keep their pet animals in cages. On the contrary, nowadays they delicately choose what suits their pets in terms of beautiful, colourful designs for pet products. Thanks to the advancement of IT technology, social networking and other media that contributed to the development of the pet industry, more alternative choices for animal keepers or pet owners are available, giving a better understanding of how to tend to pet animals appropriately.
The Thai Pet Product Industries Association has direct responsibility for holding activities and coordinating with related agencies to bring rare and exotic pets and animals to show at the event. It also invited renowned companies to exhibit their products and services for the entertainment of visitors, especially the specially priced products and services for pets.
