Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd. announced that the company will not sell or distribute to its customers any component, spare part or vehicle damaged as a result of the flood waters.
As it is Honda’s obligation to maintain trust and reassure its customers regarding the world class quality of every new Honda vehicle for customer delivery. Meanwhile in light of the unfortunate flood situation, Honda is taking action to alleviate the financial burden of Honda customers affected by the floods; Honda Automobile
and its dealers are offering a 30% discount for the spare parts at Honda Service Centers.
Regarding the latest update on the flood waters which has inundated the Rojana Industrial estate in Ayutthaya province, the company has not been able to assess the situation within Honda’s manufacturing facility due to high water levels. Hence Honda Automobile is announcing that it will continue to cease vehicle production activity till October 21, 2011.
Despite Honda’s inevitable stoppage of its assembly line since October 5, 2011, Honda Automobile is adamant in its policy to look after all of its employees who have been affected by the unfortunate flood situation which is why Honda will continue to pay wages to its employee.
All Honda Showrooms and Service Centers will be open to its customers, and more importantly vehicle bookings can still be made at all times on a regular basis.
Honda Automobile will continue providing updated information its customers regarding progress made on the pending situation.
