Despite the threat of floods in Bangkok, over 600 fitness and health professionals congregated at Imperial Queen’s Park hotel Bangkok for the Opening Ceremony of the Asia Fitness Convention 2011, which is taking place from today until Sunday, October 23, 2011.
After presiding over the Opening Ceremony, the Ministry of Tourism & Sports’ Inspector-General, Mr. Somprasong Khomapat (3rd left), took the opportunity to tour the exhibition area, which displayed some of the latest fitness-related technologies and products, along with Mr. Chanvit Phalajivin (2nd left), Director of Sports Science, Dr. Suzanne Hosley (3rd right), Managing Director of Fitness Innovations (Thailand) Ltd., and Mr. Marcel Ewals (right) Managing Director of AsiaCongress Events Co., Ltd., co-organizers of the event.
