TTW’s operating results growing by 8.7%

Bangkok--28 Oct--Thai Tap Water Supply Thai Tap Water Supply Plc. (TTW) announces its operating results of the 2011 third quarter and the first 9 months of 2012 with the higher growth than the previous year because the company and its subsidiary have the increase in revenue from selling tap water. Mr. Somphod Sripoom, Managing Director, reveals that the 2011 third quarter’s reviewed and consolidated financial statement of Thai Tap Water Supply Plc and its subsidiary have the total revenue by Baht 1,188.5 million increasing by 5.8% and net profit by Baht 553.3 million rising by 8.7% from that of 2010. This is because the increase in water tariff as compared to the previous year along with the rise in tap water sell volume. Concerning the operating results of the first 9 months of 2011, Thai Tap Water Supply Plc and its subsidiary have the total revenue by Baht 3,452.1 million increasing by 4.7% from that of 2010 while the net profit is baht 1,610.7 million rising by 2.8% from the previous year due to the increase in selling price and sell volume of the company and its subsidiary. Furthermore, the company’s total asset, debt and shareholder equity are Baht 21,250 million, Baht 11,563 million, Baht 9,687 million, respectively. Regarding the current inundation, this has already had the impact on tap water production and waste water management system of Bang Pa-In Industrial Estate, Ayutthaya province. As the primary assessment, if the inundation lasts for 3 months in this area, it would slightly decrease the company’s total revenue by 1%. Originally, this revenue portion shares approximately 4% a year to the company’s total revenue. However, the flooding has not yet made the detrimental impact on tap water production for end-users in Nakhon Pathom, Samutsakorn and Pathum Thani provinces as well as its head office, located in Buddha Monthon 5 Rd., which remains opened as usual. Additionally, the majority of all staff has not been affected by the flooding and they, as the company’s key persons, have done much preparation for sustainable bags to relief and help more and more victims confronting with the inundation in the existing service areas because of the rising water level spreading more in West Bangkok Area.
