Honda Contributes 100 Million Baht to The Thai Red Cross Society to Help Flood Victims

Bangkok--10 Nov--Aziam Burson-Marsteller HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously granted an audience toMr. Pong Sarasin (far right), Chairman of Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd., who, along with Mr. Hiroshi Kobayashi (second from right), President and CEO of Asian Honda Motors Co.,Ltd., Mr. Chiaki Kato (third from right), President of A.P. Honda Co.,Ltd. and a group of executives from the Honda Group in Thailand, presented 100 million baht to the Thai Red Cross Society as a contribution to aid flood victims in Thailand. Honda has operated in Thailand for over 47 years and has always received support from Thai people. Although Honda’s automobile manufacturing facilities are currently affected by the flood, the company still supports its staff and workers by paying remuneration. Honda also confirms that the company will not move its production base to another country and is always ready to share happiness and problems with Thai people.
