TMSM is confident in its ability and readiness to cope with the impact of flooding. Although loss amount from flood cannot be ascertained at this moment, the estimated gross loss amount is approximately 81 billion baht, most of which will be recovered from reinsurers. Despite, the local partners of TMSM and Tokio Marine Group are committed to provide the financial support to ensure that the TMSM remains fully operational as a going and viable concern.
TMSM has set up special teams in order to facilitate quick claim settlements to its valued customers, including Tokio Marine Group technical experts sent to assist the local team.
