With what goes in the bathroom, bacteria can build up rapidly, and can be found on all surfaces and products used in the bathroom.
1. Bathroom rugs
You step on your bathroom rugs every day after exiting the bath or shower. Dampness helps growth conditions for bacteria. Wash and dry the rugs weekly and separately from other items.
2. Towel
Damp towels harbor bacteria just like damp bathroom rugs and when you use them continuously, you are rubbing the breeding bacteria directly onto your skin.
3. Toilet seat
Flushing toilet deposits contaminated water spray on the toilet seat and lid.
4. Surfaces
Moist bathroom surfaces such as counters, floors shelves and cabinet attract airborne debris, such as microscopic particles of dead skin that fall from our bodies and clothing and can thus also be growth areas for bacteria.
5. Toothbrushes
Residual particles of food and blood can remain in the bristles and on the handles of toothbrushes, and under the right conditions can become harmful.
It's impossible to clean toilets after every use. Keeping a bathroom well-ventilated and dry will help to maintain the bacterial and mold level at minimum. Besides, choosing products treated with LIFE antibacterial protection can lend a helping hand to prevent the spread of germs.
