The King’s Patronage (EIT), by Mr.Suwat Chaopreecha, President , and Young Engineers of Thailand by Dr.Theerathon Tharachai, Vice Chairman; congratulated to Dr.Suchatvee Suwansawat (3 rd from left), Congress Chairman of World Tunnel Congress 2012 and Chairman of Thailand Underground & Tunnelling Group(TUTG) on being awarded Eisenhower Fellowships 2012 as a leader of a new era by President Dwight Eisenhower's Foundation , United States, which is an international organization with a global network in 29 countries aiming to strengthen new leaders who better the world around them.

About Dr.Suchatvee Suwansawat,and Eisenhower Fellowships
Dr.Suchatvee Suwansawat , 39 years old ,a doctorate in engineering and environment, Institute of Technology (MIT), Massachusetts ,USA; is the prominent person with creative force with topknot expertise in tunneling technology and underground construction. Currently he has been Chairman of Thailand Underground & Tunnelling Group(TUTG), The Engineering Institute of Thailand Under H.M. The King’s Patronage (EIT) with vital role in dedicating himself to research, develop technical knowledge of infrastructural tunnelling technology and underground construction for people’s better live ,environment and economic development . He initiated the special formular of underground excavation for infrastructure construction that has been referred and used most often as Thailand’s No.1 and the world ‘s No. 5 top ranking. He also transfers technical knowledge of underground system,drainage tunnel to prevent flooding and many more utilities to education and industrial circles. He is also the founder of Young Engineers of Thailand that engages new generation of Thai engineers to develop engineering academy for social contribution and people’s better life .
Dr.Suchatvee is the first Thai who was selected as the conference Chairman of World Tunnel Congress( WTC 2012), where delegates from all over the world will meet on 18-23 May 2012 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. This great event will benefit to thai and ASEAN people as well as mankind for developing their better life, sustainable infrastructure system, efficient water management , more competitive logistics and transportation to support economic security and development as well as ASEAN cooperation in disaster preventions and relief.
Dr.Suchatvee has been awarded as the Eisenhower Fellowships 2012 as leader of a new era by President Dwight D.Eisenhower Foundation in the United States which is an international organization with a global network in 29 countries aiming to strengthen new leaders who better the world around them. Founded in 1953, Eisenhower Fellowships engages emerging leaders from around the world to enhance their professional capabilities, broaden their contacts, deepen their perspectives, and unite them in a diverse, global community - a network where dialogue, understanding, and collaboration lead to a more prosperous, just, and peaceful world .
Next year Dr.Suchatvee will spend two months travelling to meet with key personalities in the U.S., such as George H.W. Bush (Honorable Chairman of Eisenhower Fellowships) , General Colin Powell (Current Chairman of Eisenhower Fellowships), Mr.Henry Kissinger (Honorable Chairman of Eisenhower Fellowships) and etc.
