H.E. Mrs. Kristie Kenny, United States Ambassador to Thailand (right), recently presented a 2011 AMCHAM Corporate Social Responsibility Excellence Recognition Award to Mr. Jeffrey D. Nygaard, Vice President and Country manager, Thailand and Penang operations, Seagate Technology (Thailand) Limited (left). Seagate is one of twenty-seven firms that were selected for administering exceptional CSR programs. The company receives this award for two consecutive years.
The award aims at raising corporate social responsibility awareness, sharing best practices and providing recognition to AMCHAM member companies in Thailand who have strong commitment and dedication to community development. The award recognizes the firm’s sustainable business development which is a good example for other companies in the society.
