Ministry of Education joins hands with Kao Commercial (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Tops Supermarket in organizing activities to campaign for the proper method of washing hands for the young people in support of the project “Thank You & Cheer Up Together,Thail
Kao Commercial (Thailand) Co., Ltd. , manufacturing company of cleansing foam for hands under the product name of “Bior?” has initiated the project “Let’s wash hand for everyday good hygienic” to campaign for Thai young people to stay away from the germ. In this respect, the company will present cleansing foam product for hands “ Bior?” for the amount of 20,400 pump bottles to the affiliated schools of the Ministry of Education, including the organization of caravan to convey knowledge of proper method for washing hands to the students.
The report of the United Nations stipulates that proper method of washing hands will greatly help to prevent millions of children all over the world from the diarrhea and infections of the respiratory system. In this connection, the schools play an important role in changing hand —washing habits of the children. It has been proven that washing hands by water and soap can protect against hundreds of germs which remain alive in the communities, as well as can remove grease and dirt.
Ms. Churairat Sangboonnum, the Deputy Permanent Secretary for Education, stated that, “ almost 2,000 affiliated schools of the Ministry of Education and more than 200,000 students have been affected by the problem of major flood recently occurred. After the flood crisis, the Ministry of Education has been concerned a great deal about the sanitation of the students because many schools had been flooded for a long period, probably resulting in the latency of germs. In this regard, the older children can take good care of themselves. However, as for the small children, there must be the campaign for better understanding of maintaining hygiene properly. Therefore, the contribution of cleansing foam product for hands “Bior? “ to convey knowledge, better understanding of proper method for washing hands for the students is considered to be a great activity to promote.”

The company has realized that hands are organ which can most easily lead germs into the body.
Therefore, Kao Commercial (Thailand) Co., Ltd. , manufacturing company of cleansing foam for hands “Bior?” which is well sold product No. 1 in Japan, has decided to join hands with the Ministry of Education and Tops Supermarket in organizing the activity “Let’s wash hand for everyday good hygienic” under the project “Thank You & Cheer Up Together,Thailand-Japan” which aims to allow Japanese people in Thailand to express their gratitude and appreciation in goodwill for the assistance from Thailand and Thai people when Japan had experienced the major disaster in the east of the country. The activity to be organized will campaign for Thai children to wash their hands properly so as to stay away from the germs and be in good hygiene, as well as will present cleansing foam product for hands “Bior?” 280 ml. for the amount of 20,400 bottles totaling the value of 4 million Baht to the Ministry of Education for further distribution to 100 affiliated schools affected by the major flood both in Bangkok and the provinces around. In doing so, the children will be allowed to use the cleansing foam for washing their hands. The cleansing foam product for hands “ Bior?” is of the pump bottle type, with fruity fragrance and anti-bacteria formula, gentle to the skin and can be washed out easily. The said foam proves to be appropriate for children, helping them enjoy washing hands in the similar way with Japanese children who are fond of this product because of its soft bubble.
In this connection, Tops Supermarket has come into an alliance in support of the activities because of its intention to become a part to return smile and happiness to Thai people again. Tops Supermarket will be representative to present the cleansing foam product for hands “Bior?” to various schools through its delivery system for the children’s use in washing hands to stay away from germs and be in good health onwards.
