This is a relatively simple procedure which involves taking hair from a donor site on the patient’s body and transferring it to the top of the head. Despite the simplicity, only surgeons like Dr. Damkerng can expect a high success rate. During the hair transplant procedure:
- The surgeon removes a strip of hair from a pre-selected donor site, usually located on the side or back of the scalp.
