Bangkok Bank announced the launch of “Japan Desk” at Silom Head Office targeting Japanese retail banking customers. The bank’s staff capable of Japanese language will take care and provide all financial services to the customers such as an opening of a new account, an issuance of ATM card, money exchange, etc. Moreover, “Japan Desk” at Silom Head Office is also connected to Emporium branch via an internet line to provide Japanese language service through computer’s video call facility which enables the bank to conveniently serve Japanese customers who mostly live around Sukhumvit area. Bangkok Bank will continuously endeavor to provide banking services on one stop basis at “Japan Desk” and will gradually install video call facility at additional branches which have relatively high record of the Japanese customers.
