Mrs. Pittaya Vorapanyasakul, Executive Vice President-Travel and Leisure Marketing Department, “KTC” or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited, said “KTC and Krungthep Turakij jointly stage the 2nd “Thailand Boutique Awards 2011” to help promote the tourism industry in Thailand and give smaller hotels nationwide the opportunity to gain more recognition among the consumers. This year’s program is opened to hotels with 3 to 79 rooms. A total of 350 boutique hotels have participated in the program. This number grows up as double to last year while the honorable judges from different professions are under the process of making final decision. In this year, the Panel Chairperson is Mr. Kreingkarn Karnjanapokin, Co-Chief Executive Officer of Index Creative Village and the awards presentation ceremony will be held on January 26th, 2012 at Aksra Theatre.”
“For this year, the organizer and the judges add more details in awards categories. The candidates will compete in three hotel classes: Small, Deluxe and Luxurious boutique hotels. The four location classes are 1) Seaside 2) Mountain & Forest 3) River & Lake and, 4) City.
