It is a double celebration this Chinese New Year at Marina Bay Sands with Bayfront MRT station opening just one week before Chinese New Year. This comes as an early bonus for the integrated resort to usher in the Year of the Dragon, as well as to welcome visitors right at its doorstep.

Mr. John Postle, Executive Director of The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, said: “The opening of Bayfront MRT station completes the transportation routes to Marina Bay Sands, complementing the current options of land and water transport. We are thrilled with this highly anticipated opening as it allows our visitors to access Marina Bay Sands with ease from all parts of the island. This is also a milestone for The Shoppes as the Circle Line extension will bring more traffic for our retailers to prosper in the Year of the Dragon and beyond.”
