Bangkok--20 Jan--BOI H. E. Mr. Ibrahim Yusuf (3rd from left), the former Indonesian Ambassador to Thailand; Mr. Suryo B. Sulisto (6th from left), the chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN); Mrs. Nancy Martasuta (4th from right), the chairman of KITHA; and Mr. Teddy Hartono (2nd from left), a member of KITHA, were keynote speakers at a seminar hosted by, and in conjunction with, the BOI Fair 2011 that was recently held at the IMPACT Muang Thong Thani. Entitled ‘Empowering the Indonesia-Thailand Partnership’, the seminar commenced with opening remarks by H.E. Mr. Primanto Hendrasmoro (4th from left) Charge d’Affaires of the Embassy of Republic of Indonesia in Thailand. Following presentations provided an in-depth look at investment opportunities in Indonesia that are designed to create collaboration and promote bilateral trade between the two countries. The event was well attended by Thai and Indonesian businessmen, including: Mr. I Wayan Subagia, General Manager of Garuda Indonesia (3rd from right); Mr. Asoka Wardhana (2nd from right), Deputy General Manager of BNI Bank Indonesia; and Ms. Nana Yuliana (far left), Head of Economics Affairs for the Embassy of Republic of Indonesia in Thailand. The invited speakers and the seminar participants were warmly welcomed by Dr. Atchaka Sribunrueng (5th from left), secretary general and Khun Pannee Chengsuttha (far right), Director of Thai BOI.
