One of concerned matters after the flooding is microbes that are still living in the air and breeding in the appliances and furniture in the houses. These bacteria and fungi are not invisible with naked eyes but they can cause severe diseases to humans.One way to protect ourselves against these microbes is to stop their growth by employing antimicrobial technology called “LIFE antimicrobial protection”. LIFE is a materials technology specializing in developing solid materials such as plastics, coatings, textiles, etc. with built-in ingredients that kill or inhibit the growth of micro-organisms. These materials, especially plastics, are becoming more and more essential in daily life; end products include food packaging and food contact application.Antimicrobial technology was invented by American scientists and has been used abroad for a long time.
