adidas (Thailand) Co.,Ltd, the leader in sportswear and fashion from Germany, recently celebrated solid success for the past year in a fun party at Bed Supper Club, Sukhumvit 11. Themed “We are… ‘all in”, the event stunned the honored guests and representatives from the media with a very exclusive fashion show of the adidas Spring/Summer 2012 collection where fashion editors and famous athletes joined professional models on the runway. Mr.Vijay Chauhan, Country Manager, adidas (Thailand) said “We are grateful for the support from Thai media for all the activities we did in the past year. 2011 was full of diverse activities aimed at addressing different target group’s demand. We have also seen several successful new products launches, such as the world premiere of adidas Originals Denim, adidas King of the Road, adidas all24, and the launch of “Tango12” the official football for EURO 2012. The past year is, therefore, another significant year for adidas. “Today, we are stronger and more than ready to make good progress in 2012. We plan for many new product offerings and interesting activities to excite adidas fans and allow them to connect more with adidas brand. Today, you will be the first group in Thailand to have a sneak preview of the latest adidas collection,” said Mr.Chauhan. Support for sports event has been one of adidas’ commitments. Next year will mark another significant time for football fans as it is the year of EURO 2012. adidas is the official football for this competition. In addition, the adidas King of the Road or KOTR, the long-distance running competition in Southeast Asia, will return in a big bang. There will be many more interesting activities streaming out from adidas, not only in the sports world but also on the runway. The event started with a special fashion shows presented by the country’s famous athletes, fashion editors and celebrities, not to mention professional models. Among them are Kiatisak Senamuang, former Thai national football team center; Mai — Panupong Wongsa and Tong — Kawin Thammasatchanon, the two leading football stars from Muang Thong United football club; Tony Rakkaen, Top Street Fashion Icon; Toei — Thanothai Ua-amornrat, hot DJ from Hot Wave station with trendy B-Boy gang; leading fashion editors and gurus including Sukon Simarattanakul, Editor in Chief of Volume magazine; Thanwadee Chuthawarangkul, stylist at Sudsapda magazine; Jirat Pornpanitpan, Editor in Chief of Cheeze & LOOKER magazine; Jackie — Adisorn Puengya and Ekarat Kengtookthang, two leading sports anchormen from Channel 7 and Channel 3; and adidas executives and leading models Nuch — Neranat Coats, and Si — Pitsini Tanwibul.
