From 1pm on Saturday, February 11th, 2012, Thanyapura Sports & Leisure Club's world-class Tennis Academy will assume a romantic aspect as mixed doubles couples mix it up on the court, and those game for the occasion make new friends. For one special day only, love, along with whizzing tennis balls, is most definitely in the air.
So bring a friend, bring your lover, or your better half. The tournament runs until 4.30pm, and will feature mixed doubles (one male and one female) of any kind: married and unmarried couples, or teams of friends. The Tennis Academy expects at least 8 teams (16 players) to sign up, but the more the merrier.
Thanyapura Sports & Leisure Club's tennis facilities are unequalled in Phuket, with six 'Plexicushion' competition standard courts, four covered for indoor play and two outdoor courts.
What's the price of love? THB1,000 for Sports & Leisure Club Members, and THB1,200 for non-members. Bookings are required, and interested players should book any time before February 8th, 2012.
