On Tuesday February 14, 2012, BarSu and Strategic Catering invite you to mingle and enjoy this special evening, as elegant bartendees uncork a selection of bubbly at our Valentine’s Day sparkling wine tasting, complimented by creative canapes.
The evening of effervescence begins with a welcome glass of Jean Pierre Brut from Australia, a very refreshing, Champagne-style sparkling wine with lively bubbles and a crisp finish, accompanied by a delicious crostini with prosciutto. The fizz will continue to flow with another engaging Australia wine, the Emeri Sparkling Sauvignon Blanc. The wine’s gooseberry and grassy aromas and soft tropical fruit flavors will be paired with an exquisite fresh oyster shooter. The third wine whisks romantics off to France with the elegant and fruity Ackerman Chenin Blanc matched with stuffed chicken. Wine lovers will also enjoy Pascaul Toso Brut from Argentina served with grilled scallops, and Emeri Shiraz, a deep red sparkling wine with raspberry aromas and delicious fresh berry flavors, accompanied by succulent beef in a mushroom sauce. The Valentine’s evening ends with Trevi Original from Australia. The sweet, musky and delicate with persistent bubbles, the wine with be matched with a luxurious chocolate mousse and fresh strawberries.
