Electrolux ranked the world’s leader in environment in Dow Jones Sustainability World Index for the fifth consecutive year, while Thailand registered its record growth in 7 years
Dr.Suwan Walaisatian, Jurist and Former Deputy Minister of Commerce, congratulated Mr.Sutti Manokitjarunman, General Manager of Electrolux Thailand, on occasion that Electrolux has been recognized for Durable Household Products sector leader by Dow Jones Sustainability World Indexes (DJSI). DJSI rates the best leading companies in terms of social and environmental criteria from the world’s 2,500 largest companies. Electrolux has been awarded in the DJSI World for the fifth consecutive year from the latest announcement in 2011, while Electrolux Thailand has been successful at overcoming crisis in 2011 with its utmost growth 21% in 7 years.
The Dow Jones Sustainability World Indexes evaluates the performance based on various factors which are standard for the world’s leading companies such as principles of good governance, risk management, branding, climate change mitigation, participation in solving global environmental problems, environmentally friendly product design etc.
